Growing up on the farm I learned that for every job there was a knife! A good, solid knife has always been an essential tool.

I've been a butcher since the 90’s and knives play a vital role in my working life. In learning to sharpen the knives and with the influeunce and support from Rory Connor, a local knife maker, I began my adventures in the craft and soon became obsessed.

knifemaking has become a lovely counterbalance - food world and craft.
